Capsule Wardrobe | Adding New Pieces

Happy Friday Loves! Back to another week in the Capsule series and I’m so excited to share these goodies with you!

So, like most things in this capsule situation, I do this part just a bit differently. Just as I purge both past and upcoming seasons at the same time, I also buy for both seasons at the same time. Don’t you remember, I told ya this girl don’t buy much without it being on sale! The end of one season and beginning of another means lots of sales. That means I stock up for the past and upcoming season.

I nabbed some really adorable pieces, and also… did y’all know Abercrombie has some amazing clothes?! Like, not tattered jeans and tight button down henleys and oversized sweatshirts, a la 2004. But super cute, on point items. Who knew?! My girl Laura at Reese and Rowe filled me in on this little tidbit.

All of these pieces are from the end of season sales at Loft and Abercrombie with a few other random places thrown in. As you can see, I purchased pieces that will go into my spring/summer capsule for 2018, as well as some pieces to add to my fall/winter 2017 capsule.

 Loft- Essential Tank

You guys, this is marked down to LESS THAN $4 and still available in many sizes. My size: Small.

   Loft- Spacedye Open Cardigan

This is marked down to $20. It’s currently available in this color in Petite in all sizes as well as Regular in a cream and light pink color. My size: XSPetite.

Loft- Cold Shoulder Sweater
I got this one in store and couldn’t find it online. I got it for less than $20. My Size: Xsmall.

Loft Spacedye V-Back Sweater

They also no longer have this online. It’s SUPER cute and has a v-back to it. I love the dolman style, it’s super flattering. My Size: SPetite.

Loft- Striped Elbow Sleeve Tee

I originally ordered a small petite in this top, but it was too short for my liking, so I ended up going with an xsmall regular. Unfortunately, this color is no longer available. My Size: XSmall

Loft- Circle Lace Mixed Media Shell

They no longer have this color available, but they have an olive cream perfect for fall! My Size: XSmall.

Loft- Lou & Grey Signaturesoft Hi-Slit Tunic similar

This top is now available in cowl-neck only. I have a lot of Lou & Grey pieces and find they tend to shrink (because everything goes in the dryer at my casa!). This is a bit big on me, but I figure by the time I wash and dry it, it will be perfect! My Size: Small.

Abercrombie & Fitch- Asymmetrical Snap Pullover

You guys… I am IN LOVE with this top! I did have a really hard time deciding on sizes. So much so, that it required a call to my mom and going over the likelihood of shrinkage based on the materials tag. I really loved the fit of the xs, mostly because of length, but it was a bit tight in the chest (and I am not large-busted). My Size: Small.

Abercrombie & Fitch- Garment Dye Shirt

This top is super comfortable and easy to style with leggings or jeans. Win-Win. My Size: XSmall.

Abercrombie & Fitch- Cozy V-Neck Top

This top is sold out in most colors and sizes. I can totally understand why- the name says it all! My Size: XSmall.

Abercrombie & Fitch- Ruffle Hem Top

This top is super cute and comfy. It does run a bit big. I will say, with all of the A&F stuff, I am super nervous about shrinking- that’s why I didn’t size down in this- especially because the back crosses over, lifting the middle back hem a bit. My Size: Small.Abercrombie & Fitch- Woven Tee

Sooooo cute! This top has buttons all the way down the back. Need I say more. The sizing was fairly generous, I feel like if I had gotten a small, it would have been HUGE. My Size: XSmall.

Target- Spacedye Tank Maxi

Can’t find it anywhere online. I snagged it on the clearance rack in store a month ago. It’s super comfy and because the waist is gathered, I can get away without it being petite- yay.

Shoes- Hush Puppies Odessa Evaro

These are ridiculously comfortable! I would shop around for them, they are originally $90- I got them for $40 from Zulily, and the link above is from Hush Puppies direct website and is the cheapest place right now. Depending on where you shop, they have them in various colors. My Size: 7.

Shorts- Abercrombie & Fitch Midi Shorts

These were $16 dollars! Crazy. They are super comfy. They are large in the legs for me, which is unusual. I’m thinking they will shrink once I wash them. My Size: 27.

Clothing Rack: SONGMICS Multifuctional Bamboo Garment Laundry Rack with 4 Coat Hooks 2-tier Shoe Clothes Storage Shelves URCR52N. I painted it with “Chalk Finish” spray paint.

I’ll be back next week to reveal my FULL FALL Capsule- including old items, as well as these new pieces, that apply.

I hope you guys have an AWESOME weekend! For those of you in the path of Irma, stay safe!
