Bump Update | 32 weeks

Gah… HOW am I so far, yet still have so long to go?! It’s about that time in my pregnancy where I think… wow, that went really fast and seconds later think “ahhhh, I’m so ready to be done!”
I had my 32 week appointment today and know I’m on the home stretch because my appointment interval has now become every two weeks. Seriously… this pregnancy went SO fast! I can’t believe I only have five doctor’s appointments left until this little one arrives. That is scary! How will I handle two?!
Luckily, even though we don’t have family nearby, they are gracious enough to help us in our time of need. The plan is for my mother-in-law to come down a few days before my due date (in the hope that Sadie arrives just about right on time) and will stay for two weeks. Kyle will have a week of paternity leave, which he will take after baby arrives, and my mom is coming down for a yet-to-be-determined amount of time once Kyle goes back to work…. let’s just say, we’re never letting her leave! hah! We also have a wonderful group of friends who have offered to watch Evie in case none of the above works out the way we hope and Sadie comes much earlier than anticipated!!
NAUSEA: Donzo.
CRAVINGS: I have had a lot lately! Mostly for sweets. I had Kyle run out one Sunday evening to get a box of Entenmann’s Frosted Chocolate Donuts and polished the box off in three days. Not my proudest moment. I’ve also been loving Lindt Milk Chocolate Truffles and Ghiradelli Carmel Squares.
BELLY BUMP: Ya’ll… it’s BIG. I feel like I’m 36 weeks pregnant… not 32!
MOOD SWINGS: None really, just still short of patience sometimes.
SLEEP: I thought I was going back to having insomnia a few nights ago. Luckily, it seems to have remedied itself!
PELVIC PAIN: Oy. This is the worst of all. It definitely doesn’t help with the contortions and positions I’m in while at photo sessions, and then sitting at the computer for hours editing. Alas, this too shall pass!
