You know how you think you come across a family recipe. Only to find out, it only seems like a family recipe, because it’s a signature dish that someone makes. That’s a bit disappointing, isn’t it?
This summer pasta salad is my mom’s go-t0 dish for summer outings. I always thought it was HER recipe, only to find out, that she swiped it from the side of a Salad Supreme seasoning container! Well, sort of. It’s not the exact recipe, but it’s pretty close. In any regard, it is DELICIOUS! And it’s super customizable. You can switch up the veggies, dressings and pastas and still end up with something fabulous!
Ingredients:
1 lb linguine pasta
1 8oz. bottle fat-free italian dressing
1/4 c. McCormick Salad Supreme
2 medium cucumbers
2 medium tomatoes
Instructions:
1. Cook pasta according to package. Drain, rinse and let cool in colander.
2. Meanwhile, cut up cucumber and tomato into 1″ pieces.
3. Mix pasta, veggies, italian dressing and salad supreme in a large bowl. Let chill for 3 hours.
Presto! It’s as easy as that!
