I originally intended to post this series during the last week of every month, but March was just crazy. We were supposed to close on our house on March 21st, then after three weeks of a grueling “due diligence” period, the buyers backed out. So, we were back on the market for two weeks, then under contract again- and then all of the fun inspections, appraisals, repairs, packing, etc have been happening since! We officially move this coming Monday, so after that we will be settling into the new house and hopefully a more quiet routine!
I didn’t have time to put together a video for this post, but I still have some amazing goodies to share with you!! Yes, those are my undergarments, is that weird? Sorry, but you’ll thank me!
This bra is AMAZING. I have been a loyal VS girl since I started wearing a bra… or at least since I was in high school. However, they have changed their design since then and their straps only tighten so far. I am petite, and short. I also have a super short torso, so my straps were constantly falling down. Annoying. I also tried a few Aerie bras, but I had the same issue with the straps, and they never quite fit right. I had been seeing Third Love here and there and decided to give them a try. You guys know I love my Vinylux Gel Polish. My only gripe is that it’s hard to find a variety of colors and Amazon only has so many. I was super excited to see that Essie came out with the own Gel Polish. These are awesome because there is no UV lamp needed and you don’t need anything special to get it off. Mine stays on for a good week, which is awesome! When I go get a professional manicure, the polish, no lie, is off the next day. It’s so frustrating. Typically, if it’s a gel polish that will stay on for about 7-10 days. Although I didn’t get a full two weeks out of this polish, which is what the package states, I am thankful it stayed on for a week. I’ll take it!
3. Stella and Dot Antonia Tassel Necklace
This necklace is gorgeous. It has all of my favorite colors in it and is just the right size! I find some tassel necklaces can be a bit overbearing, but this one is perfect, even on my petite frame. It’s also a great weight. Heavy enough to feel like it’s a quality piece, but not too heavy; so as to make it uncomfortable to wear.
4. Gap Washwell Mid Rise Destructed Best Girlfriend Jeans
I have been on the hunt for awhile for a great pair of destructed denim. To be honest, I was a bit afraid to wear them; as it’s not typically my style to wear torn denim. But, I saw so many other friends and IG style-guru’s pulling off the look so effortlessly, I decided to give it a try. I started small, with this lightly distressed pair from Gap, and I’m loving them! They are super comfy and have just the right amount of deconstructed-ness. I did have to size down one size, as my normal size was large in the waist and super baggy in the crotch.
5. Mossimo Supply Co. Lina Slide Sandals
My girlfriend had these on the other day and they were SO cute! I asked where she got them, and when she said Target last year, but that she saw them again this year, I knew they’d be getting added to my weekly shopping list!
