My husband is a watch guy. For awhile now, I have been eyeing these JORD watches, and wasn’t sure if he’d love the concept or not- he’s a pretty traditional leather band kinda guy. I pitched the idea of wood watches to him, and after scouring their Instagram hashtag (which you guys totally should do! There are so many great examples of the watches!), he was totally all for the idea!

When the watch arrived I was super impressed with the quality and craftsmanship; as well as the presentation. The watch comes in a fully wood box, complete with a vented pull out drawer in the bottom to keep a humidity control packet to deter humidity from effecting the wood. There is a cloth to clean the watch, as well as an oil to keep the wood conditioned. They’ve really thought of everything! I can really appreciate a company that is all about the details.

The watch on is really quite stunning; and I love the uniqueness of it. This is the HYDE series watch in Walnut and Black. It really is a versatile piece that I feel like could be dressed up or down, as well as match your black or brown shoe/belt situation. This handsome guy sure loves it, so it’s a win in my book! It was a great addition to his watch collection.
